Austin is a dynamic offensive player and aggressive outfielder who impacts the game in multiple ways. At the plate, she brings the ability to execute the short game as a slapper while also possessing the ability to drive the softball gap-to-gap. That offensive versatility allows her to create pressure without being limited to a single approach.

On the bases, Austin demonstrates strong baserunning awareness and an aggressive mentality. She recognizes opportunities to advance and consistently looks for ways to pressure the defense into making a play.

Defensively, Austin plays the outfield with confidence and effort. She takes quality routes to the softball, covers ground and is willing to extend her range and leave her feet when necessary to make a play. Her arm is a legitimate defensive tool, and she is willing to challenge runners attempting to take an extra base.

Austin's combination of offensive versatility, baserunning instincts, outfield arm strength and high-effort defense allows her to impact the game in multiple phases.
